Smothered Pork Chop

Serves 3
Peperation 10 minutes
Cooking Time  30 miniutes


  1 lb of Pork
_4 slices of Colby Jack or Chedder Cheese
_2 boxes of Slice Mushrooms
_1 tablespoon of  Extra Virgin Olive Oil
_Garlic Powder
_Ground Pepper
_Sea Salt

Heat  oven to 385 Degrees.  Trim fat off pork. Pour 1 Tablespoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil in glass casserole dish. Spread oil throughout the bottom and place pork in dish, then flip pork to cover both sides with oil. Sprinkle garlic and ground pepper. Then sprinkle slight amount of sea salt and oregano. Cover with aluminum foil and put in oven. Check periodically, While Pork chop is cooking, pour about 1 teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil in pan and sautéed the mushroom. Sprinkle some garlic powder and ground pepper  while sautéing the mushroom. Once Pork chop is cooked, dump the oil out of the pan. Place sautéed mushroom and cheddar cheese slices on top of the Pork Chop and place dish back into the oven uncovered. Once Cheese is fully melted, serve. You can also try it with sautéed red onions as well. Great with Salad!
